I got the weed puller today. It's very sturdy made of metal perfect size for me (6'0"), not heavy and I was impressed by how well it pulled the entire root out with the weed foliage. Comes in 3 pieces that screw together easily. Works super well for dandelions. Not as good for the broad leaf weeds that break off at the stems, I wish the prongs were a little longer. As others have mentioned, there's no "eject" so you have to pull the weeks off periodically or scrape them off with your shoe. Mechanism is purely mechanical, lever controls two of the prongs. Will last a long time, solid metal.

This puller replaced one that had a cluster of nails on the end. This one gets the job done with little effort and seems very sturdy. The plug removed is pretty large. If you use your foot to hold up the lever while you position on the weed, you can get a smaller plug. Carry a stick or screwdriver to get the plug out. Having an ejector like my old weed puller would make this one even better.
